Mothlight has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. The only thing the game ever sends off your device is the nickname you choose and your best score, and only if you decide to join the world board.
Mothlight collects no names, emails, contacts, photos, location, advertising identifiers, or any other personal information. There are no purchases and no payment data.
The world board runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, and KV), which hosts the scoreboard and handles requests on our behalf. App distribution is handled by the Apple App Store. No other processors are involved. We do not sell data, share it for advertising, or use it for profiling of any kind.
Where GDPR or similar laws apply: joining the world board is processed on the basis of your consent (you type a nickname and press join); rate limiting and abuse protection rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the board honest.
A world-board entry is kept so the board can display it. Rate-limit records expire automatically within minutes. Local play data stays on your device until you delete the app.
You can ask us to remove or change a world-board entry at any time (access, rectification, deletion, or export): email noumenon.aii@gmail.com with the nickname, and we will remove it. Deleting the app removes all local data.
Mothlight is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Nicknames are free text you choose; do not use your real name if you do not want it shown.
Cloudflare serves requests from data centers worldwide; world-board data may be processed in the United States and other countries under Cloudflare's standard safeguards.
Scoreboard traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Input is validated and bounded server-side, and submissions are rate limited.
